After I posted in riverside 2 days ago with a link to an alliance mate's selling thread WITH screenshot (another one, yes) and I told you all I can provide as many screens as u want, my post got DELETED without any reason or warning. Then I stopped caring, people are absolutely ridiculous and unbelievers here.

Depends, its a year round drop, but i'd beelive that it has same drop rate as everlasting beetlejuice, but it may take awhile for it to reach that lvl because there were alot of beetlejuices added after the celestrial tourney

The celestial tournament added the first 29 everlastings to the game ever. I paid 3000e for mine back then from the guild leader of eF and still have it.

So I think your premise is right... theoretically it should sell for a ton since there are so few at this point. However, I think the allure of rare tonics is gone though:

First, the yule, transmog, beetle got duped like crazy 2 months ago and a lot of those were put into the market by resellers who bought cheap duped ones. Second, there are too many flavors of everlastings now. Third... for sinister in particular... since there are tons of regular sinisters and it is almost identical to the automaton... it does not stand out as a vanity tonic. After all... everlastings are vanity items to let other people know how rich you are just like rare minis.

With the above points in mind I recently sold all my tonics except my beetle tonic which I am keeping for the memories of Ascalon International days of old and will take to the virtual graveyard with me when I dont log on anymore. I had bought another one of the original 29 celestial beetle tonics and I gave that one away to an old friend of mine on Friday to say thanks for the the fun times we used to have way back when.

The only one I might buy at some point is a frosty just so I can stare in fascination at the reflection of the ice crystals when I am in need of some meditation. Hmmm... then again I just watched the movie The Matrix again last night. Maybe I will buy an automaton and a sinister and then contemplate if I want to stare at the "blue" dot or the "red" dot....

I don't care much for these tonics cause to me, they seem to just be something to keep all the powertraders content but now hold the phone for just one second here...

...You mean to tell me that there's still duping going on in game? And by that I mean maybe not as in right now but as recent as 2 months ago? I thought duping had stopped with the armbrace incident pre-EotN.

That "duping" is called zchest. All 3 drop from the chest (just a note)

No...zchest is legit...duping is duping. And yes... there were a group of guys duping the snot out of yule, transmog, beetle. The rich powertraders knew who they were and were buying them up cheap for resale. The guys are banned again... they were duping zkeys in August and everlastings this last time. But I am sure they will be back with new accounts and new variations. I almost sold them my island g. for many thousands of ectos but they wanted to pay in everlastings at cheap valuations which was kind of obvious. And they had as many as you needed. You didnt notice all the yules and transmogs for sale in kamadan?

Everlasting Sinister was confirmed ingame at the moment the first guru high-end sale thread started. Yet it spawned multiple discussion threads with tons of unbelievers.

But for something completely different and much more important: wtf duping?

During the last couple weeks I have observed a huge increase in ever-Beetle tonic sales and their price drop. But I haven't thought of any duping, I thought it happened for 2 reasons:
-An increase of their droprate that might have happened with the same update that added the ever-Frosty/Mischievous/Sinister to ZChest;
-and a huge increase in the openings of the ZChest itself caused by Wintersday event producing huge tons of ZKeys from PvErs and casuals doing a ton of snowball fights and from 100s of guilds playing snowATS with crazy RPs rewards.

So last year dupers are being banned for duping then they come again and get banned again and the new duping exploit itself doesn't get closed? Very interesting. And I don't see how dupers wanted to pay thousands of ectos using everlastings, as 7x rare everlasting is not enough.

Who do you think people are going to believe? Someone from ANet, or a random forum user?

When someone from ANet says it can't be dropped in game, a screenshot from a random forum user that could be photoshopped isn't really good proof.
